DIY Fall Wedding Invitations & Thank you's

With the Thick Materials Punches, you are no longer limited to just paper or cardstock for your invitations. These punches are designed to punch through thicker and heavier materials so you can make your own custom embellishments using unique materials. This will save you money and time with your wedding invitations and create a more personalized mood for your special day.

To Make the Invitations

1.Using your computer and printer, print out your fall wedding invitation details and use the Reinforced Portable Paper Trimmer to accurately trim the cardstock to 4.5" x 6.5". You will get precise cuts with this trimmer as the aluminum rail won't flex, and the line of site window will show you exactly where you are cutting.

2.Use the Easy Stamp Press, leaf stamps from the Build a Tree Clear Stamp set and an embossing pad to stamp designs on the invitation. Cover with embossing powder, shake off excess and set using a heat tool. The Easy Stamp Press is a time saving tool because you can arrange all of your stamps on the clear plate, allowing you to stamp the whole design at once.

3.Create heart shapes by punching wood veneer with the 2" and 1.5" Thick Punches and adhere to the invitations with glue. For a rustic feel, mount your fall wedding invitations to a piece of wood veneer measuring 5" x 7" with foam glue dots.

4.Use the tree design from the Build a Tree Clear Stamp set to add a rustic tree and autumn leaves to the front of your invitation envelopes.

To Make Matching Thank You Cards

1. To make your own fall wedding thank you cards, use the trimmer to cut patterned cardstock to 5" x 3.5".

2. Use your computer and printer to print a special thank you message.

3.Embellish the thank you card with stamps from the Build a Tree Clear Stamp Set and more wooden 1.5" hearts cut using the heart Thick Punch.

4. Trim to 4.5" x 3" and mount to the trimmed patterned cardstock.
