Enjoy the craze for all things "mini" with the Fiskars® Lia Griffith Mini Envelope punch and stamps. Perfect for crafting with kids, or creating beautiful décor for parties, weddings, classroom crafts and more! Use the matching set of mail-friendly stamps to add even more fun to this whimsical DIY.
1. Punch out mini envelope. Start by selecting your materials for the project. I chose different colors of card stock that I thought would coordinate nicely together, as well as with the ink color I would use to embellish my punch outs.
Once you have decided on the materials, begin by punching the card using the Fiskars® Lia Griffith Level Punch: Extra Large – Mini Envelopes punch. You will end up with a small card that will soon be transformed into an adorable project!
2. Apply your selected stamps to the stamp block press. Next, you'll want to stamp the output to add embellishment. I chose a few different varieties from the Fiskars® Lia Griffith 3x6 Stamps – Happy Mail to add different sentiments on my envelopes. Stamping one at a time, press your stamps onto the Fiskars® Lia Griffith Stamp Block/Press Combo 2PK Stamp Block and get ready to ink.
3. Apply ink and stamp. Next, apply ink onto your stamps and press onto your mini envelopes. You can mix and match ink colors here to customize this project even more. Allow to dry fully before moving onto the next step.
4. Fold envelope tabs in. After the ink has dried, you can assemble your mini envelopes. I used little glue dots to secure the flaps together, but you can use any adhesive you like.
5. Finish with a sweet surprise. These envelopes are cute, but filling them with little loves notes makes them even better! Depending on your party theme, you can punch out any small shape you like and fill your custom envelopes with special surprises. I punched out mini hearts from the Fiskars® Lia Griffith Lever Punch: Extra-Large - Heart & Mini Bow punch and placed them inside my envelopes. I can't wait to share this fun paper project with my loved ones!
