Making Personalized Coffee Mugs

Creating these fun, personalized coffee mugs is easy and consistently accurate with the Align and Apply Vinyl tool.

1. Following manufacturer's directions, use your die cutting machine to cut your desired word or phrase from vinyl.

2. Use the OHS to trim the lettering, then weed the excess vinyl.

3. Use the OHS to trim a piece of transfer tape and then transfer the lettering to the tape.

4. Prepare the surface of the coffee mug by cleaning it with rubbing alcohol

5. Position the Align and apply vinyl tool on the coffee mug, adjusting the movable tabs as necessary, in order to snugly fit on your mug.

6. Load the vinyl on to the tool, using the arms to keep the vinyl in place. Then swing the bar down and adjust positioning as desired.

7. Apply pressure to the vinyl to allow the transfer tape to adhere to the mug. Remove the tool.

8. Finally, peel back the transfer tape to reveal your personalization.
